Every Counselee needs to see God as He describes Himself in Scripture. God is not like us! God’s nature and attributes set Him apart.

Abuse defined by 2 Timothy 3:1-5. An abuser is a lover of self as the bible describes those who will live for themselves. Abuse comes from the heart of the person who is abusive. Abuse comes out of a heart that worships Self.

God offers comfort from His Word, through the Holy Spirit, through His presence, and many other ways.

The Power of Contentment is found in what Christ has already done for believers on the cross. A contented heart is trusts in God’s goodness, wisdom, and love no matter what the circumstances you are in.

Rehearsng the gospel to yourself is transforming. The good news of Christ is the grace that trains us to say no to ungodliness and to live upright, righteous lives.
